Visual Basic
I currently take a Visual Basic class at my high school. The teacher is Ms. Schmoyer. We are assigned various programming assignments, and I have decided to put them here for all to see. These are the exe files, if you would like to view the coding simply contact me. I don’t put the coding here because then it would be to easy for my classmates or future people taking the class to cheat. That said, I would gladly help anyone with any problems. Also, these are exe’s and some hosts don’t allow them. The one I’m currently using isn’t the best, so if you know of a free way I could host the exe’s, I’d greatly appreciate it if you informed me.
I have here the word doc from Ms. Schmoyer assigning the assignment followed by my exe at multiple locations. They are listed in reverse chronological order, with the latest on top.
PA CD- word doc, exe, mirror 1, this is the latest one.
PA Final Exam- word doc, exe, mirror 1. With this one I included the extra credit features of the background color fading back and forth between black and white and your average bouncing around the screen.
MathPrograms- doc, exe, mirror 1. With this one I included a password screen with 64 exit buttons. The catch is that only one of them works and it is randomly determined which, so it could take you a while to find it. There are also other, numerous features.
Tickets- doc, exe, mirror 1. In this one I have a Swedish stop sign pop up whenever you hit calculate and I give the user options as to how they want the numbers to be rounded.
PA Triangle- doc, exe, mirror 1. In this one I added a large internet panel. This the first program in which I put links to the internet.
PA Quadrant- doc, exe, mirror 1. In this one I added capabilities for graphing linear equations.
PA Pet Clinic- doc, exe, mirror 1. This one was pretty bland.
PA#7 Paycheck- doc, exe, mirror 1. In this one I have a wonderful welcome screen. When the program is run, all the objects are scrambled across an extra large form. Holding down Alt + i makes the background color rapidly change, holding down Alt + 0 makes the objects rescramble over and over repeatedly and holding down Alt + p makes both happen at once!
PA#6 Paint- doc, exe, mirror 1. In this one the user can toggle between enter the input in feet or feet and inches. They can also select a background color from a dropdown box, input the hex values for a color, or get a random color at the touch of a button.
PA#5 Deli- doc, exe, mirror 1. I had the chef give you comments based on what kind of sandwich you ordered. Also, when you click the picture of a sandwich, it says that it is a sandwich.
I’ll put more up later. Side note, either exe link and the mirror link should work. For example, the exe link doesn’t work at my school but the mirror 1 does, and at my house the exe link does and the mirror 1 doesn’t. (WINDOWS HOSTING)
