Open Source Gahh!’s
This won’t be found on The Rest of Sisco-Land!
I was working on modifying the Mars picture on the top here using Paint Shop Pro 8 when I had a Gahh! moment.
Note, I have never seen Gahh! in written form, I only heard it in English class and not from the teacher but from a few of the students. I shall go with the spelling Gahh! for Gahh! as it seems right. As for those who are not familiar with the usage of Gahh!, it is an interjection used one is suprised by something undesirable, such as discovering that the English test has a backside.
I had this Gahh! moment because I was using the close source PSP when I could be using the open source GIMP. I have been using PSP for a while, at first because it had its Animation Shop, which I used to make that animated button which you may see on the Unreality. Then I continued using it because it is what I had and I found some useful features. But GIMP most likely has just as many features, if not more. I will never know until I try, which is now.
I successfully used GIMP to change the picture as you can see. I took out the extra text, replacing it with “The Gimp” and “Life on Mars”. I also added some greenage for life and made the whole thing more red. Get GIMP!
